I've been using WiFi Radar for a while, but lately have found very cool software the kicks Radar's tush. it's called wefi, and you download it (for free) on www.wefi.com. Very cool stuff - unlike radar, who simply connects you to some open spot, wefi actually verifies that this spot has internet, so you can start surfing in a click. if you ever tried to find some free wifi, you know how annoying it can be to try one network after the other until you find the best one. this really does the trick. they also have some cool wifi maps (to which everyone can contribute) and some nice wifi application for finding wi-fi windows mobile (i've been using it on my HTC and it did wonders). worth checking.
